Terms of the studentship (2007 entry)
The Florence Hilda Yates Studentship is offered, through competitive application, to one student accepting a full-time place on a PhD or a taught Masters programme within Music and who will begin their studies in September 2007.
The studentship is offered for one year and includes tuition fees (paid at the UK/EU rate) and a living allowance matching AHRC levels (c.£7,500). An additional fund of £1,000 is available to support the student’s work. Applications are open to candidates of any nationality, although applicants who are required to pay international fees will have to find additional sources of funding for their tuition fees.
Applicants who wish to be considered should make clear their interest when they apply. Anyone who has already applied will be automatically considered. Deadline for applications: 1 August 2007.
